This is a recent restoration of an older tattoo design of mine, inspired by traditional Japanese art and surrealism. Ballpoint pen on paper.
Striking image... so pretty!
This is stunning. I love the minimalism and dynamics. Great work!
It's beautiful! It looks like it was painted in traditional ink. Amazing!!
This is beautiful! A wonderful mix of Japanese elements that form a great composition!
lovely work - especially that koi
Wow, that is amazing!
Great job, I like how you played with the opacity of the ink! The symbol of her neck is a very nice touch (I read your explanation of its meaning below ^^) Always interesting to see human figures in this style of yours!
You draw so beautifully in this style! What does the Japanese lettering on the person's neck represent?
Beautifully drawn! I love her expression and the economy of lines-- seems like the perfect fit for this design, great job!
Thank you very much. A bit different than what I usually draw, but fun and challenging all the same.
You are very welcome, my friend-- and I agree that it can be quite interesting drawing things different to those we draw more often. I get the feeling, at least in my experience, that even if the results are not what one expects, there are still certain lessons that can be applied to other images.
Gorgeous my friend ! Those lines are just perfection
Good stuff, love the Koi
looks like life and bravery to me - bravo my good friend - really stunning - and so different from your contemporary images of chaos, death & destruction.
